I don't know the answer to your question but have some you might know the answer to. Why did Trump give interviews almost exclusively to Fox News and other radical right news programs? Why did he so often get visibly angry and obnoxious to reporters that asked him tough questions? Why did Sean Spicer never correct his obviously wildly incorrect statements regarding inauguration crowd size on his first news conference? Why were Sarah Sanders, Kayleigh McEnany, and all the other Trump press secretaries allowed to openly lie to the press? Whose idea was it to take a Sharpie and add a poorly drawn addition to the expected landfall area of Hurricane Dorian?
