Organic Farm Manager Wanted

We are experienced and certified organic growers. We have all that anyone would need to conduct a large or medium or small grow: greenhouses, tractors, irrigation, lodging, knowledge, … we’ve got it all to grow a wide variety of organic produce, chickens, fruit, berries, … sky is the limit and we are flexible. We will even include room and board. However, the owners (me), have other farm-related activities that prevent us from being the primary grow managers. We can help, even help a lot, but you need to be the main driving force. This is not a typical arrangement in that we prefer to not charge you rent or pay you a salary, instead we provide you an opportunity and infrastructure for you to make money from the sales of organic food. You can sell through our channels and markets, but you need to grow it. If you are industrious you will make money! Now one more twist, we provide a stream of volunteers that we would like you to also manage. These are people with generally very little experience but will provide several hours of field and greenhouse work every summer in exchange for the experience and education associated with the effort. I can provide more information later. There are a lot of details that can’t be expressed in a simple paragraph, but if I sparked any interest, why don’t you respond and tell me about yourself and let’s discuss whether you are right for this position. They best time to start would be this fall or mid-winter (we have some year-round grow capabilities) so we can get a jump start on the 2022 grow season. You need to have some experience in growing (even if just aggressive gardening) and/or managing projects and/or people.
