Beware of John Duffy

I hired John Duffy to do a small landscaping job Monday the 7th. He came over, did the job, no problem. Seemed completely honest. Told me he would do another job for me the next night. Emailed me later Monday night to Cash App the money to him for the supplies he would need. He seemed trustworthy so I did. Long story short, he's no longer responding to my emails. When I called his phone # the caller ID gives me a completely different name. I have our entire email chain, including the part where he offered to send the money back (it's been a whole week, no money received). In short, don't hire a young (late twenties) white guy named John Duffy who drives a Honda CRV and is originally from Virginia but has most recently lived in South Carolina.
