German Shepherd looking for country home

Handsome male German Shepherd is looking for a country home. We have owned him since he was 10 weeks old...he is now a very healthy 10 years old. We had to move from a 10 acre property to the city and he is not handling the adjustment well. He has been a wonderful dog for us and this is a very difficult decision. We will be very picky when choosing a home for him and references WILL be checked. He is fully obedience trained, crate trained (but will break out during fireworks) and house broken. He does not do well with small animals of any kind and we have not had him around children. He is being offered for free to the perfect home...again, multiple references will be required and thoroughly checked. Please contact with any questions.
