compensation: $13 plus Tips To be considered for this position you must pass a background check and agree to be subjected to random drug testing. We are a rental company in Newport Beach. Ideally located on the waterfront with great views of the harbor. We’re seeking a candidate that not only performs the general duties, but exhibits an overall sense of AWARENESS and TEAMWORK! General Duties: • Customer Service comes first!!! • Send boats out - diligently explain route, safety equipment/procedures, controls, and other Do’s and Don’ts around the harbor • Catch boats - safely escort customers off the vessel • Clean boats - thoroughly sanitize • Maintain work area and inventory • Assist patrons on kayaks and paddle boards • In general, work collectively to maximize efficiency and provide customers with the best experience possible Expectations: • Lift 50 pounds • Be able to swim • Outstanding Customer service skills • Ability to multitask • Be punctual to work • Be available weekends and holidays • The more schedule flexibility the better! • Bilingual is a huge plus! • Prior boating experience is a huge plus! • Handy with any types of repairs/tools or electrical work is a huge plus! Work is seasonal but prolonged employment is potentially available depending on performance and availability. The ideal candidate can work well under pressure, be detail-oriented, organized, and efficient. Expect to be running out in the sun all day and jumping in and out of boats, so a candidate that’s relatively agile is preferred.
