JOB DESCRIPTION - HOUSEKEEPER RESPONSIBILITIES: Dust furniture, woodwork and equipment and dust-mop floors. Polish and clean fixtures in rooms and bathrooms. Wet-mop rooms, halls and other areas; shampoo rugs and furniture. Clean top of windows and doorframes Gather and dispose of trash and waste materials using specified bags or containers. Perform terminal cleaning procedures of patient rooms and prepare rooms for new occupants; follow isolation procedures in isolation rooms. Clean and disinfect all fixtures, floors, mirrors, windows, doors and walls of bathrooms. Keep work areas neat and orderly, clean equipment and assist with other cleaning duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to work full time: Monday-Thursday 2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.; Alternating Friday with Sundays 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Preferred High school diploma or GED diploma.
