Responsibilities: • Performs inspection of vehicle prior to and after operation of, moves trailers in and out of dock as directed by management, couples and uncouples double trailers • Orderly maintaining of the yard, inspection of trailers prior to loading • Support and participate with Safety Team meetings and activities • Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor Qualifications: • CDL license required • At least 1 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience in the last 5 years • Reliable and customer oriented • Safety oriented • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job • Willingness to, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening if needed This position is designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others. Job Site Location/City: Linden, NJ 07036 Shift/Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm (weekends availability) Starting pay rate: $21/hr
