Hooker Towing is looking for an on call night and weekend wrecker operator as well as a day time wrecker operator. The night and weekend position entails working around 15 shifts a month where you would be on call with a truck and phone at home. One week is SAT,SUN, TUES, FRI, the next is MON, WED, THUR, and that just repeats, always consistent, always know when you are working and when you are not. The weekend shift is from 8am Sat - 8am Mon, all weekday night shifts are 5pm to 8am. The daytime shift position is Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm on site. We are a non smoking, drug free, good driving record company. We will train and help the right person obtain a license to drive for us, so a CDL is not required to apply. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs, and be able to crouch and or lay under a vehicle, and be able to work in acclimate weather snow, heat, rain. MUST live within Cedar Rapids or immediate surrounding areas: Hiawatha, Marion. Our drivers love supplementing their day jobs working for us getting paid full time for a part time schedule. Salary starts at $400/week with a 90 day review and possible raise.
