Power of the Purse 2021 Summer Event - Grant Applicant Presentations WHEN: Tuesday, August 10, 2021 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM WHERE: Sabin Hall at Liberty Center (7539 Haskell Street - Liberty Township) COST:  Dinner & Drinks  $35 PURSE RAFFLE: 1 ticket $5 each OR 5 tickets for $20 RSVP: Please RSVP by Friday, August 6th Parking at Liberty Center The Taylor Garage is located on the far west end of the property near the AC Marriott hotel on Taylor Street.  There is also a large surface lot on the east side of the Taylor garage.  Parking in the garages and surface lots is complimentary. Sabin Hall is situated between the Park and the Square, atop the rooftop acropolis.  Stairs to access the rooftop are located between Chico’s and White House Black Market on Gibson Street.  There are elevators next to Kona Grill facing the Park and Haskell Street near David’s Tea.  About the Event The Summer Power of the Purse event is the next step to awarding the $10,000 grant for 2021. Grant finalists will present their proposals at our August meeting.  Following the presentations, members will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite grant applicant. (Your 2021 membership fee must be paid for you to vote.)  The grant will be presented at our Gala Event in December. We will have our popular designer purse raffle following the grant finalist presentations.  Be sure to visit our Facebook page to see our featured designer bags. The cost for the event is $35, which includes dinner and drinks.
