Torched Products, LLC is a B2C and B2B product manufacturer, retailer, and wholesaler that sells a variety of products, including candles. From start to finish... this department manufactures, packages and ships these candles 5 days a week and sometimes weekends. Anywhere from hundreds to thousands of candles are shipped every day, and each candle has unique manufacturing/packing/shipping requirements. While no experience with candle production or management is necessary, this job suits an individual with the following skills and attributes. Familiar with managing small teams (3-7 individuals). Manufacturing, packing, and shipping. Inputting data into spreadsheets. (Excel or Google Sheets) Communicating via email. (Gmail) Project management. Inventory Management. Strong communication (Bilingual is a great help but not required) General requirements of the applicant: Reliable transportation to and from work. The ability to work in the heat. The ability to stand for long periods of time. The ability to lift up to 50lbs. Availability Monday - Friday; 6:30am - 2:30pm. This is a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is absolutely critical. While candle-making is a science that needs to be treated with respect, there is a process that needs to be followed carefully to ensure the product is safe for the consumer. Primarily, the Candle Production Department has the responsibility of monitoring the production process and ensuring that it is being followed correctly. Beyond that primary responsibility, this individual must monitor inventory, order materials, communicate with a Senior Director of Operations and learn each step of the production process. Someone with a great attitude, strong leadership skills, great attention to detail, and moderate computer skills is likely to succeed in this position if they are willing to learn.
