New project: looking for female vocalist plus other instrumentalists

Description

I'd like to start a new project in the pop/alternative/indie-rock vein, working primarily on originals. Ideally, I'd like to work with a female vocalist who has something a little unique about her voice that we could build a sound around (influences below). I don't have a hyper specific idea of what that unique set of attributes will sound like, so I'm very open to ideas. I'm a male guitarist/bassist in my late 30s. Your age doesn't really matter a ton - I can get along with all kinds of people. Also, because this needs to be said, I'm happily married and absolutely not trying to use this to pick up women. I also need instrumentalists. I'd like to focus on guitar in this project, so at minimum I need a bassist and a drummer. A second guitarist, or keyboardist, or someone who's into digital music/sampling etc. would be welcome. Just nobody with substance abuse issues or anything like that. I'll also need someone who has some practice space. I don't have a good enough space in my own home. Influences: Rubblebucket, Caroline Rose, Hop Along, Lake Street Drive, Lucy Dacus, Lucius, Wild Child, K.Flay, Bleached, The Breeders, Thao Thao & The Get Down Stay Down, Daniele Luppi, etc. I'm also open to genres and styles not reflected in this list. I almost put Dessa on there, for instance. Goals: In the near term, I'd like to work on original songs and do some recording. If this all works out, then as a group we could decide how much we want to get into gigging. I've done plenty of gigs in my life, and while they're a lot of fun, I'm not exactly super eager for late nights in dive bars. But we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.
