Grounded Brooklyn-based singer with a plan who writes and has a killer stage persona is looking for a disciplined bassist and drummer with a rebellious spirits for a rock/pop project with roots in the blues and 80’s indie pop (that’s the short version). Looking to build a band, have a kick-ass guitarist in place. If music is your passion, you’re easy to work with, you have time to meet once a week or so, and you and your instrument can get funky, sing the blues, and fight the power — what are you waiting for?!?! I started writing straight out of college, then earned a scholarship to study opera (which I did for two years), studied with a singer who backed up Beyoncé for another two years, and have done some session work. I’m in the middle of recording a full length project with an industry pro (he’s worked with the majors for 10+ years) and would like to start working in anticipation of live shows starting up sometime soon-ish. Open to a trade, just lmk what you’re looking for (I sing, write lyrics and/or melodies, write and sing harmonies, play a little keyboard, and have a home studio with Protools) and we can see what may make sense.
