Chicago Mahogany Tours proudly offers south side neighborhood tours by our Urban Historian, Dilla! Chicago Mahogany, LLC is dedicated to the preservation and dissemination of the rich history/culture of the city of Chicago. We aim to highlight Chicago’s people, architecture, and impact on the world. Our passion fuels our duty to deliver this history and educate current and future generations. We desire to plant a seed that will foster a sense of pride and community. "The Chicago Way." Come join us on Juneteenth weekend as we celebrate Chicago's impact on the world. Our Historian, Dilla, will be taking you on a unique 2hr bus tour through some of Chicago's most historic southside neighborhoods. We intend to foster a greater understanding and appreciation of south-side neighborhoods. JUST ADDED Fourth of July Tours 🇺🇸🙏🏿💯🙌🏿 July 3-4, 2021 On this tour we will be honoring Chicago’s contributions to the continuation of this great country. We will visit Armories that are still standing, and see the sites of Armories long forgotten. We’ll visit a Confederate Mass grave on the South Side and pay tribute to the men who gave the ultimate sacrifice in defense of America. We will do all of this, of course,on Chicago’s Historic South Side. Join Us!!!! Passengers will board the bus in the east parking lot of DuSable Museum of African American History. It is located just west of 57th & Cottage Grove. PLEASE ARRIVE 15 MINS BEFORE DEPARTURE. WE WILL BE LEAVING ON TIME. IT WILL BREAK OUR HEART IF WE HAVE TO LEAVE YOU. We suggest you find parking in Washington Park, adjacent to the museum. PLEASE WEAR A MASK!!!! We will be following all CDC recommended Covid-19 precautious for the safety of all our passengers.
