St. Luke Free Clinic proudly presents the 2021 St. Luke Color Run! A 2.4 mile untimed event that you can experience with friends and family! The Color Run is a 3 kilometer untimed event that you can experience with friends and family. Your free to run, jog, walk, or cartwheel along the course. At each kilometer, participants are doused from head to toe in different colored powders. The powder is made with cornstarch and is biodegradable. St. Luke is a non-profit organization with a 501(c)3 designation located in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Since the grand opening on May 13, 1993, the clinic has seen over 6,000 new patients and had over 100,000 visits. There has been over $1 million a year of free medications given to patients in need. St Luke Free Clinic provides free quality medical care for patients who are low income and working uninsured or underinsured. Our patients do not qualify for government assistance with health insurance. The clinic encourages and supports patients to assume responsibility for the health care needs. We deliver care through volunteer caregivers who are committed to deliver health care which respects the patient’s dignity, right to competent treatment and education, and right to confidentiality. Our patients are treated regardless of their cultural, social, or economic background. The Clinic also provides information regarding preventative health care as appropriate. Donations from “you”, our community members, organizations, and businesses have allowed us to continue to provide free, accessible health care to people in need. St. Luke receives no federal or state funding. Due to recent cuts by donors, our need for help from the community is greater than ever. We need help to enable the clinic to serve individuals and families in our community who rely on St. Luke as their only viable means to access quality preventative and primary care.
