The North County Food Policy Council invites you to the 4th annual Thanks4Giving in August fundraising dinner to support Turkey Tally. The North County Food Policy Council invites you to participate in the fourth annual Thanks4Giving in August fundraising dinner to support the Turkey Tally Program, which provides nutritious, protein-rich turkeys (or vegetarian options) to local families in need during the holiday season. The evening will include Thanksgiving-style dinner & cocktail option in a COVID-safe, outdoor setting in Oceanside. All proceeds will benefit the North County Food Policy Council's efforts. Cocktail hour • 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm Dinner served • 6:00 pm Meal will be traditional Thanksgiving dishes: • Roasted Turkey with savory gravy or Thanksgiving Vegetarian Loaf • Mashed potatoes • Stuffing • Green bean bake • Cranberry chutney • Dinner rolls • Harvest Dessert Don't want to attend the event, but want to give back? Purchase a donation ticket where 100% of your donation is used to purchase turkeys. For every $16 donated, an additional turkey will be purchased by the North County Food Bank and distributed through nonprofit members of the North County Food Policy Council. The North County Food Policy Council works to find solutions to address the unmet food security needs of the residents of North County and to increase access to a secure and nutritionally quality food supply and food shed.
