Learn Traditional African Drumming Participants will master the history and basics of West African dance practicing with handcrafted Djembe and Dundun drums. Instructor: Bernard “Yiriba” Thomas, co-director of Teye Sa Thiosanne, a San Diego non-profit founded in 1988 to engage the community through creative expression. Limited availability: secure your spot ASAP. Location: center courtyard, near Papaya store and dog park. All proceeds are donated to California Center for the Arts, Escondido.
