Job Description: Local Medical Supply Company serving Home Health, Clinics, Hospitals, and Hospice Agencies. Looking for part time technician to deliver medical supplies to patient residence. No experience necessary, will train upon hire. Must be able to work independently, ability to lift up to 80lbs, and manage time wisely. Expected to be prepared with all deliveries, ensuring all equipment are properly cleaned and tested. Flexible work hours, must be available min. 25hrs a week. Perfect for students or those looking for part-time only. Flexibility on overtime if desired. Mon-Fri, with occasional weekends. Paid 2 week vacation after 1st year of hire. Job Duties: - Strong Customer Service Skills, Able to work independently, and understands Importance of Time Management. - Assist with equipment sanitation, and warehouse cleaning maintenance - Must be consistent and organized with inventory restocks of equipment and logging of incoming orders - Receives Daily routes and expected to have equipment cleaned, tested, and readily prepared for deliveries. - Maintains continuous communication with dispatch to relay a change in an order or issues with prescribed orders, position in routes, stock availability and to confirm delivery and pick up of equipment - Basic computer skills. Consistent with documentation and reporting of equipment orders, including deliveries, pick-ups, and exchanges. - Able to respond to emergency calls and new patient orders during regular business hours and on-call rotation hours with a window of time for deliveries. - Loading and Unloading of equipment in vehicle - Must be able to lift and move equipment up to 80lbs. - Documentation with driver’s maintenance log - Must be efficient and organized, problem solver, and works well with others. - Reviews basic equipment operation and instructs patients and/or caregivers on the proper use and care - Must have the ability to stay calm during difficult situations when patients, family members, or caregivers become frustrated. More than having an excellent need for customer service, compassion and understanding is our top priority. Equipment includes: PPE Supplies, Misc. Medical Supplies, Respiratory Equipment, Hospital Beds, Wheelchairs, bathroom and mobility aids. Education: Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent. Pay: $15-$16/hr, plus bonuses. Pay increases upon 1st 6 months.
