An all ages curated open mic event celebrating the Black and LGBTQ+ community. Food, art, raffles, and fun for the whole family!
Hosted by the lovely Darko (@sheisdarko), accompanied by fellow poet P Storyteller (@p_storyteller), with sound aesthetic supplied by DJ Space Ent (@djspacex___x) come down and experience a beautiful homage to Juneteenth and Pride month celebrating how far we have all come and how far we will continue to go as we expand ourselves and our communities through the realm of art.
Our featured artist Brittany Soul (@brittanysoul) is a multi-faceted wordsmith powerhouse who has been an influential force in Las Vegas for years, emceeing events around town and putting out pristine content across all major platforms. She is also a published author and will have copies of her chapbook “Key of Love” available at Saturday’s event.
Along with our feature, we have other prestigious local artists such as @ajwordartist @matt_fogenay @d.orrmusic @monarchthepoet @swanashe30 @exoduzmusic providing an eclectic lineup that is sure to awaken your senses and elevate your artistic repertoire.
