Requirements: . High school diploma or equivalent . English reading and writing skills; computer skills a plus . Minimum of one year of previous inspection experience (if no experience apply anyway- will train but will need to have a phone call first) . Ability to read and understand technical and non-technical documents - customer drawings, specifications, etc. . Must have experience with precision measuring instruments and perform necessary math calculations Duties: . Inspect products at various stages of manufacturing to ensure quality . Use CMM and various hand inspection tools for inspection requirements . Verify raw material if required. . Place discrepant material on "Hold" for further determination Verify and complete QA and manufacturing documentation . Perform leak test or other tests using customer supplied equipment . Train and assist Die Cast and 2nd Ops employees with rejection criteria, documentation. . Inform/interact with QE of quality-related requirements . Participate on the Audit Team . Other assigned tasks as required. . Reports to Quality Assurance Manager
