Lamar Tool and Die (temp to perm) Requirements: . High school diploma or equivalent and a College degree (Business or Engineering preferred) . English reading and writing skills . Computer skills - Microsoft Office required a Minimum of two years of related experience . Minimum of five years in quality assurance, inspection, or engineering Duties: . Oversee, manage and maintain ISO9000 Quality Management System . Establish, monitor, and maintain Quality Assurance/ Control Department and System . Identify critical points in the manufacturing process and define sampling procedure . Determine types of tests to be performed, as well as documentation and reporting requirements for QA engineer and inspectors . Establish product improvements to meet customer specifications . Communicate critical part information, including customer changes to all necessary departments. . Maintain records on calibration performed on all instruments and equipment Provide direction to QE and QA inspectors in their duties and responsibilities Provide training and tools for manufacturing improvements . Interact with customers on Non conforming product . Responsible for training of auditors and all Auditing performed . Develop documentation as needed to maintain the Quality Management System / ISO program [per ISO 9001:2000 Section 5.5.2]. . Manage Quality Assurance inspection technician personnel . Specific tasks as specified in the Department 102 Roles and Responsibilities Requirements. . Other assigned tasks as required.
