Join fellow Rhode Islanders as we write letters together on the lawn of William Hall Library. Dear Rhode Island is a community-led project to build connection across Rhode Island using the power of letters. Sign up to get matched with a penpal at www.dearri.com. Then join us on Sat, July 31 from 10am to noon as we come together to write letters on the lawn of William Hall Library. Who knows, you might even meet your penpal in person! Safety Guidelines To keep this event accessible and comfortable for all, we ask that you maintain a safe distance from each other. If unvaccinated, please wear a mask. A Sanitation Station with hand sanitizer will be available to all. Restrooms will be available inside the library; otherwise this event takes place outdoors. What to Bring (we'll have some supplies on hand, but feel free to bring your own!) -Paper, stationary, stickers, envelopes -Pens, Pencils, Markers or Crayons -Face Mask -Hand sanitizer -Chair or blanket (some chairs provided) -Sunscreen Location & Parking William Hall Library is located at 1825 Broad St Cranston, RI 02905 There is plenty of parking onsite in the library's parking lot. Join us on the lawn to the right of the building. Accessibility The lawn outside William Hall Library is wheelchair accessible.
