Press release from Andover Public Schools: June 16, 2021 On behalf of our students, we are grateful for the support from the community at Town Meeting and at the polls on Tuesday, June 15th. The West Elementary and Shawsheen Preschool Building Committee met on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 to vote on next steps following the voters' approval of funding at the polls. The Building Committee authorized the extension of contracts for the Owners' Project Manager, PMA Consultants, the architect, SMMA, and Gilbaine as the construction manager. The project now begins the pre-construction phase. More information on the project can be found here. We will continue to post updates and agendas as the project moves forward.
