Essential Functions/Primary Responsibilities: • Ensures a proper supply of materials for tapers, fillers, box makers, labelers, and other packing equipment. • Ensures cup feed trays remain filled. • Assembles boxes/cases for packing product(s) as needed. • Packs finished product into cases. • Manually stacks filled cases in prescribed maimer for shipping. • Visually inspects product for quality defects and removes the defective product. • Maintains company standards for cleanliness, safety, and productivity in the plant area. • Provides support for the machine operator in maintaining continuous production. • Performs duties on all lines in packaging as necessary. • Assists other Utility and Machine Operator positions as needed. • Works cooperatively with other members of the packaging line. • Ensures compliance to quality, food safety, and HAACP support programs; assures conformity to all company, customer, and government standards. • Performs other duties I responsibilities as assigned by Management.
