MANCHESTER, CT — Two arrests were made after police narcotics specialists raided a Manchester dwelling, police said. The arrests concluded a lengthy investigation by the East Central Narcotics Task Force targeting an area crack cocaine dealer identified as, 29-year-old Josiah Cadette, police said. During a June 15 raid at Cadette's home — 180 John Olds Drive in Manchester — the ECNTF served four active arrest warrants on Cadette for sales of crack cocaine in Vernon, according to a police report. Also at the home was Cadette's girlfriend, 27-year-old Nysha Sanchez, and a 3-year-old child, according to a police report. "The aforementioned narcotics and firearms were found scattered in various areas of the residence with no regard for the presence or safety of the toddler," Police said in a report. Cadette was processed at the Vernon Police Department and charged with possession of a controlled substance and the sale of a controlled substance and was issued a $75,000 court-set bond for each warrant, according to a police report. Additionally, Cadette was assessed a $250,000 surety bond for the "operation that led to his arrest," police said in a report.
