Male musicians in their twenties for career-oriented band

Hello CL world, I am looking to start a band here in the city of Chicago with perhaps three or four other guys. I play guitar(mainly), I also write and sing. My songs are enjoyable, ecclectic, and fun. My rock/pop influences range from Black Sabbath, The Strokes, Smashing Pumpkins, Oasis, and many other bands. If it is sonically pleasing, I will most likely be up for listening to whatever(I like all genres). For now, my goal is to be in talks with people and to share ideas and begin the process of playing together if that means circled around a couple of guitars or playing at the music box. I am passionate about music and hope you are too. If you have six months experience with your instrument that is fine with me. Six years or sixteen years. It does not make a difference.
