Work outside for a company that is committed to keeping our employees safe, healthy, and employed during the COVID pandemic! Glen Acres HOA is seeking employees to assist in our Landscaping Department. Experience in the field is preferred but not required as we will train the right individual. Must be willing to work in all types of weather and one weekend day per week. Typical work hours are 8:00 am until 4:00 pm. Excellent attendance and punctuality are required. Golf privileges and restaurant discount benefits available. Duties: - Mowing, raking, weeding, shearing, edging and hand pruning - Safely operate equipment, including but not limited to: 21” and 36” mowers; power hedge shears; power shears; backpack blower; aerator - Regular, on-time attendance Qualifications: - Commercial landscape experience preferred, but not required - Bilingual English/Spanish a plus, but not required - Insurable driver’s license a plus, but not required - Can complete tasks in a timely manner and follow directions Working Conditions The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. -Frequently works with mechanical objects and outside in all weather conditions -Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals -Frequently exposed to loud noise levels Offering end of summer bonus.
