Richards-Tacoma Warehouse Associate We are looking for a forklift-certified Warehouse Associate to join our south Tacoma Team at Richards Packaging, Inc. As an “essential” manufacturer of plastic containers, Richards-Tacoma, located in the Lakewood Industrial Park, proudly plays a key role in keeping our customers putting food and medicine into the supply chain year-round in the United States and Canada. This is a direct-hire, 40 hours per week, Monday thru Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The right fit for the Richards-Tacoma Warehouse Associate should have the following skills, and minimum 5 years sit-down forklift experience, including, but not limited to: • Loading and off-loading 53-foot trailers (do you chimney block?) • Staging orders • Receiving deliveries • Bill of ladings, receiver tickets, certificates of compliance, certificates of analysis • Daily-weekly-monthly inventory counts • Computer data entry, e-mail management • Shipping, includes international • Ability to train-certify forklift drivers, do daily forklift inspections, schedule preventive maintenance • Follow applicable Company safety and health rules (includes COVID-19 prevention, face masks required), Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures (includes HACCP) for food contact manufacturing • Reliable attendance • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, stand, walk, kneel, step, turn, twist, reach and bend Richards Packaging provides excellent employee benefits, including: • Competitive wage • Medical, dental and vision insurance • 401K, match after 1 year • Holiday, vacation and WA State sick pay • Paid life insurance • Voluntary AFLAC and FSA
