WATSONVILLE, CA — Pajaro Valley Unified School District campuses have begun passing out five-day food boxes for the summer. Meals are available for all children ages one to 18 years old through July 8. They are available for walk-up or drive-thru. Here's where you can get your meal boxes. Tuesdays Calabasas Elementary: 4 to 5 p.m. Thursdays Aptos Junior High: 7 to 8:30 a.m.Calabasas Elementary School: 7 to 8:30 a.m.E. A. Hall Middle School: 7 to 8:30 a.m.Hall Elementary (upper parking lot): 7 to 8:30 a.m.Pajaro Middle School: 7 to 8:30 a.m.Rolling Hills Middle School: 7 to 8:30 a.m. Anyone with questions or seeking information about food allergy meals should go here, the district said. Support Patch's Efforts To Feed Hungry Families Patch has teamed with Feeding America to help raise awareness on behalf of the millions of Americans facing hunger. Feeding America, which supports 200 food banks across the country, estimates that in 2020, more than 50 million Americans will not have enough nutritious food to eat due to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
