TITLE: Floor Manager Location: Arcata CA Department : Production/ Processing (TTF West End) Reports to: Production Manager Hours: Full time work available. Hiring is based on a 90-day probationary period. Wage: $16.50/ hr. 90-day probationary period Summary: Culture Management holds multiple cannabis license types in Northern CA. We strive to foster a team atmosphere throughout the organization which has and will continue to help us navigate through the always changing cannabis industry supply chain. Culture Management currently has a position available in its Production Department which holds Micro-Business and Processing Licenses. Essential Job Functions: ● Assign daily job duties and responsibilities to team members to ensure that production needs, goals, and deadlines are being met. ● Accurately obtain and enter data into various spreadsheets that will allow the management team to track and follow team and individual productivity. ● Ensure that team members are clocking in under the correct job code by checking punch ins on T-sheets to ensure that the job cost is associated to the correct department. ● Run routine quality control inspections by checking team members work to ensure the product is free from errors, issues, or mistakes. ● Review team members metrics on various production spreadsheets to verify that team members are meeting established production goals. ● Train team members on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with regulations, that team members are adequately trained, and that they understand the requirements of the job they are assigned. ● Strive to maintain and foster a safe and comfortable work environment by monitoring interactions and conversation between team members to prevent a hostile work environment and maintain a healthy work environment. ● Assist in ensuring that all labels, containers, and packaging is compliant with proper information to ensure compliance with regulations. ● Relay data, observations, and issues to Production Manager and/ or Inventory Manager or Admin Assistant to ensure effective, accurate, and productive metrics and operations. ● Execute duties and maintain standards in accordance with company policies and procedures to ensure proper performance of duties and alignment with applicable labor laws. ● Complete all closing duties in accordance with SOPS to ensure that all product is properly stored and that the premises is safe and secure before leaving. ● Perform additional duties as needed.Job Competencies: Customer Service - Manages difficult or emotional team member situations; Responds promptly to team member needs; Solicits team member feedback to improve operations and moral. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education/Experience: ● An associate degree or bachelor’s degree is a + but not required. ● 2-4 years of inventory experience ● 3-5 years of cannabis industry experience ● 2-5 years management experience ● 1-2 years of data entry experience Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret documents such as shipping manifest, certificate of analysis, invoices and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence between departments. Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to drawand interpret bar graphs. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have sound knowledge of Google Docs, Excel software and general email platforms.
