No training or previous experience required. All you need is to be 18 or older, have a valid driver license, reliable transportation, able to work at heights, and have a good work ethic. Element Arbor will train you from the ground up. Literally! A Certified Arborist will teach you the basics, starting on the ground, then show you how to prepare all the proper rigging before beginning any type of ascent. A Climber works in trees using rope and harness climbing techniques, or from an aerial lift. Climbers are responsible for pruning, removals, and rigging, as well as installation of tree support systems. Special consideration will be given to anyone with prior climbing or tree work experience, or with any of the following credentials: Certified Arborist, Pesticide Applicators License, or CDL. Element Arbor is a comprehensive tree care company serving residential and commercial customers in Waynesville, Asheville, and surrounding areas of Western North Carolina.
