The Door Store is seeking an individual to join the production team. Experience in the door or cabinet industry pertaining to preparation and stain/paint of wood and fiberglass products is helpful. There will be training on our process and products, consistent with industry standards. Applicant will hired as a crew lead with supervisory responsibilities. This is a working leader position and you will be required to work along side your crew in all aspects of preparation and stain to include, patching, filling, sanding. You will be in charge of quality control inspections prior to required finish ie; Polyurethane, Lacquer or paint application. You will be responsible for assigning your team as needed to complete jobs in an efficient manner. Must be able to lift in excess of 80lbs and be on your feet for an entire 8hr shift. Strong attention to detail and personal responsibility are required as this is primarily a custom/semi-custom door company. Must have good communication skills, be a team player, and be dependable. Hours are Monday-Friday 7:30-4:30 with Saturdays as required based on job log. At times you may be asked to assist with material loading and unloading.
