LOS ANGELES, CA — Authorities are asking for help finding a woman wanted in connection with the discovery of a baby boy left in a bathroom trash can at a Lynwood park restroom on Friday. Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department investigators released images Wednesday of a woman seen pushing a pink stroller in the area at Yvonne Burke-John D. Ham Park in Lynwood where the baby was found. The newborn has been hospitalized in stable condition. Investigators believe he was born sometime between Wednesday and Friday of last week. Authorities have not identified his parents. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department received a call about 8 a.m. last Friday regarding the infant, who was found in a trash can in the women's bathroom, according to a department statement. The sheriff's department on Wednesday afternoon released images and a sketch of a female suspect seen pushing a pink three-wheeled stroller in the area and said she is being sought for questioning. Anyone with information on the baby or the person of interest was asked to call the LASD's Special Victims Bureau at 877-710-5273. Tipsters can also call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
