1 Dead In West Phoenix Crash

PHOENIX, AZ — A woman was killed Thursday morning in west Phoenix when the car she was driving hit a pickup truck in the intersection of 35th Avenue and Thomas Road, Phoenix police said. The woman struck the pickup as her car was traveling north on 35th Avenue and the truck was making a left-hand turn onto Thomas Road, according to police. The driver of the pickup truck was not injured in the crash, which occurred around 8 a.m., police said.
