The Huntsville Police Department charged James Charles Williams, 50, with murder on Wednesday, June 16, for the death of Joe Harris, 39. Williams turned himself in at the Public Safety Complex.
Officers were dispatched to 2201 Memorial Parkway on Tuesday, June 15 around 5:30 a.m. to assist HEMSI. Harris was found with multiple stab wounds.
Harris was transported to Huntsville Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Major Crimes Unit Investigators believe the two men were acquaintances and the incident stemmed from an argument.
No further information is available as the incident is under investigation.
