DJs WANTED!!! Paid position. Working alongside touring cover band. Orange County circuit. Working band seeks DJs! This position is PAID. You MUST have your own transport and gear. You DON’T need a massive sound system, as the band provides this for you. The band perform countless corporate events, private parties and festivals, and require a DJ to provide: - ambient music (while guests eat, before band starts, etc.) - fill the breaks with energy while band is taking breaks - end the night with dance music (after band is off) - be able to read the crowd at different events, so have a variety of music at your fingertips (from grad parties to 50th birthdays, from 80s, 90s, 2000s music, to beerfests, etc.) When band is working, you are part of the band and all its benefits (food, drinks, free parking, etc.) Most of the band’s circuit is Orange County, around 1 hour from Disneyland in any direction. Band performs hundreds of shows a year, and is seeking someone versatile and available. You start as a sub, and progress to doing more shows pending your availability and skill set.
