"Levi" is a playful, healthy 3 month old kitten found as a stray in Mexico.
He has been neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, de-flead, microchipped, and FelV tested.
He has tested FelV positive.
Feline Leukemia is a retrovirus which may affect his immune system and shorten his lifespan.
He may fight off the virus (retesting with your vet periodically is recommended); if he does not fight it off his lifespan may be shortened to only 1-2 years... or 15 years, the course of the virus is unpredictable.
FelV is contagious to other cats, so Levi needs to be on a home with no other cats (he likes dogs!)
There is no adoption fee to a good indoor-only home who will continue to give little Levi love and care, and veterinary care when appropriate.
