Seeking Machine Feeder/Sorter/Catcher Sets-up and operates a machine that automatically feeds or offboards. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks and works under direct supervision. Must be able to follow directions and stand for long periods of time. RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES Essential Functions – 1. Loading of preprints into machine hoppers or Catch Bundles. 2. Notifying operator of problems, such as misses or doubles due to mechanical malfunction. 3. Verify carrier route break by bundle. 4. Write carrier route information on mailing container load tag. 5. Inspect the quality of the label to ensure that the printer is functioning correctly. 6. Compare insert version with specifications on work order to verify delivery of specified paper stock. 7. Strap and stack bundles neatly on pallets or carts. 8. Performs related duties as assigned.
