Description
Hey there, I’m a multi-instrumentalist who engineers, produces, mixes, and does some mastering for local bands and have also been fortunate enough to lend a hand with helping others complete some ‘bigger’ projects for more well-known artists out there in music land. I’ve recorded hard rock, indie, electronica, alternative, Shoegaze, emo, Blues, Funk, etc. I like being a part of most creative processes and also love everything from Pop music to unconventional and stranger sounding artists... If you're a beginner you may relate to some of these phrases and ideas: Don't have much experience recording? Your friends say you need to work on your singing? Singing in "key"? You may struggle with the metronome or may not even know what "playing in time" really means? You don't understand what "having good tone" means? We all have to start somewhere... I can help with any part of your journey. Potentially, we could start with nothing and eventually work our way up creating a professional sounding recording. OR If you have a song that’s ready to be recorded (fully arranged, all the parts are written, all the instruments can be played by yourself or someone in your project) and are looking to try someone out for recording, let me know and we can possibly do a trial run of a free song and see if you like the process of working with me. There's a lot of great guys in the area and I also could steer you in the direction of others to work with too if it doesn't work out. I have various analog preamps, great mics, and tons of other gear and instruments to get the job done. If you need more help with preproduction, someone to play an instrument that isn’t available to you, or just an Extra set of ears to help you finish a project, shoot me an email and let’s try and work something out. Send me a demo, even if it’s a crappy phone recording, to give me an idea of what it is you’re working on and I can send you a link to past projects I have completed. I don’t judge in regards to quality of recording... Also, if you just want someone to talk recording with, feel free to reach out as well. Any level of experience is welcome. I have a day job and am just a dude who is obsessed with music and continuously works on my craft and I like to teach and work with other people as much as I can. I enjoy the whole process of writing a song and making a recording. Trades are welcome. Thanks for reading this!
