NOW HIRING 1ST SHIFT GROUNDSKEEPER FOR STEEL COMPANY (TEMP TO HIRE) 1ST SHIFT 6AM - 4:30PM MONDAY - FRIDAY General Duties: Receives oral or written orders from Maintenance Manager and/or Plant Manager. Performs daily general cleaning, painting, and repair work for manufacturing plant, and office areas. Uses brooms, mops, and floor equipment to sweep, mop, degrease floors & equipment, washes walls, ceilings, etc. Performs shop floor and equipment paint preparation and painting per plant guidelines. Responsible for maintenance of painting and cleaning supplies and equipment. Makes minor carpentry, mechanical and plumbing repairs. Will use hand tools and power tools in making minor maintenance repairs and maintaining grounds and walks. Tracks and reports daily activities and reports on additional findings during daily activities. Performers plant and office walks and assessment checks at beginning and end of shifts. ****MUST HAVE RELAIBLE TRANSPORTATION AND PASS DRUG SCREEN***
