Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the Facilities Maintenance Tech performs a variety of duties to help maintain and repair our commercial properties around the central Austin area. Job functions and duties include and are not limited to: •Repair/maintain interior and exterior of buildings (Paint, Plumbing, Carpentry, Basic Electrical, Landscaping • Basic electrical troubleshooting and repair (Including but not limited to interior, exterior lighting / fixtures, light switches, electrical outlets, etc.) • Repairing restrooms and wash stations • Minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilating, plumbing systems • Minor roofing repairs • Assist Management staff as needed • Identify and perform various monthly and weekly preventative maintenance tasks • Move materials and supplies to and from storage and between restaurants Experience, Skills, & Education • 2+ years of experience in facilities / building maintenance or related work. • Basic electrical knowledge • Carpentry skills • Plumbing skills Additional Qualities Necessary • Open-minded willingness to learn various tasks and approaches • Must be well organized, demonstrate the ability to prioritize and follow through on all tasks and projects with limited supervision • Ability to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills with customers and in a 1-on-1 team situation • Maintain excellent attendance • Must possess high sense of urgency tempered with a strong attention to detail • Must be able to operate in a team environment effectively WORKING AT CENTRAL AUSTIN MANAGEMENT GROUP Central Austin Management Group (CAMG) is an innovative and dynamic full-service commercial real estate development firm, focused on building for Austin's creative class.
