Born December 2014, this cat was taken from his mother too early, around 5 weeks old, and therefore is unfortunately not the friendliest family cat. He has been a wonderful indoor only cat for years, but gets nervous around large company and especially small children!!! He is perfect for a smaller family, or ideally a single individual with NO KIDS. He is loving and affectionate but on his own terms- let him come to you first, don’t try to pet him or snuggle him before he is ready to warm up. If you allow him to make the first move you will enjoy a loving snuggly affectionate cat (eventually), who appreciates an owner that feeds him and cleans him litter box. Sadly, after he scratched my toddler by the face twice now, I have a newborn due any day and unfortunately he simply does not play nice with small children who are very curious and simply don’t understand how to be cautious around a cute cat. I hope he finds the right home to enjoy his favorite things, naps on the windowsill, snuggles and pets when he decides he wants them, and a calm peaceful indoor home environment.
