Job description: WPD Management is a full service property management firm that specializes in the South Side of Chicago. We do both third party management and the management for our own holdings. We are expanding rapidly and excited about the opportunities in today's market. We are looking for an experienced janitor to complete various cleaning duties at the buildings we manage. We need someone knowledgeable that can communicate well and handle their business. We need someone to be able to be reliable, come to work and complete jobs with a positive attitude. This position will include a free live in an apartment. Responsibilities and Duties: Clean multiple buildings all within the same two blocks.  Clean front door glass and threshold. Clean any surrounding glass panels.  Sweep and mop all common area floors. (laundry rooms included)  Sweep all halls and stairways. Make sure to get all corners and baseboards.  If wood flooring, then the stairs should be wet mopped and dry mopped. Floors should not be soaked when done.  Vacuum and spot clean all carpets and rugs (stairs included). Anything that is carpet MUST be vacuumed; sweeping of carpet areas is not allowed.  Wipe down ledges, handrails, and light fixtures with disinfectant; make sure to get all window ledges as well with disinfectant.  Pick up trash inside the building and around the exterior (alley/gangways, basement pits/entrances, walkways, curbs, lawns, bushes, and landscaping areas). Get all cigarettes, small pieces of trash in lawn, bushes etc.  Pick up any pet feces.  Make sure porches are clean and clear of trash. Make sure to check all back stairs and back porches.  Maintain the area around the dumpsters, pick up loose trash and notify the AFM when trash is OVERFLOWING out of the dumpsters Reliable form of communication (working cell phone) Company will provide cleaning supplies Ability to work independently and communicate effectively Job Type: Full-time Salary: Free apartment plus $500 per month -
