Emergency Vehicle Technician We are seeking self motivated, mechanically inclined individuals with automotive electrical experience for our Emergency Vehicle Technician position. If you have experience in car audio/car alarm/ remote starts and you want to expand your skills into the emergency equipment market - keep reading. We have a full time day shift position available that will work Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm. This is a great opportunity for the right individual. Job Responsibilities **Installation of after market emergency vehicle equipment such as lighting (LED), sirens, radios, push bumpers, partitions, weapons mounts and other equipment as needed by our customers **Installation of electrical wiring, connectors, terminals and fittings, drill holes and perform all tasks related to the modification of the vehicle for the preparation of the emergency equipment. **Fabricate parts, modify existing equipment and brackets to ensure proper placement in vehicle. **Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with all emergency vehicle equipment as they arise. **Document information, as needed, related to installation and repairs. **Preform quality inspection of vehicle upon completion. **Disassembly and reassembly of a diverse group of vehicles. **Shop maintenance to include but not limited to maintaining a clean working area, minor inventory control, and other duties as needed. **and any other tasks as assigned by your manager. Candidates applying for this position must be self motivated and able to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment. Job Requirements/Expectations: **Must pass drug screening & background check. **Must have a minimum of High School Education. **Must have good communication skills within a team environment. **Must be able to follow specific directions, evaluate problems and prioritize tasks. **Must have knowledge of 12-24V DC electrical systems/components. We prefer EVT or MECP certification. **Knowledge of and ability to work with vehicle electrical systems. **Ability to identify and safely use basic hand tools and power tools. **On time attendance. **Good mechanical aptitude. **Valid Driver's license with good driving history. **Must have own tools We are committed to providing an exceptional customer experience and we know that starts with hiring and retaining the best employees.
