$15.00 per hour starting pay rate plus shift differential pay! Stoughton Health has excellent employment opportunities for Housekeepers who are detail oriented and desire to be a part of a great infection prevention team. Requires ability to read and write English and interpret measuring and hazard instructions on labels and able to maintain the challenging and physical demands of the job such as standing, walking, stooping, twisting, lifting, bending, pushing, and reaching. Must have basic computer competency skills. Previous experience as a Housekeeper in a healthcare setting is not required however it is desirable. • Full-time, Monday thru Friday 2pm to 10:30pm and occasional weekends. This position works independently cleaning day surgery rooms and all other patient rooms. This includes wiping down equipment, mopping, walls, and all critical high touch points. Dusts and damp mops floors in patient and exam rooms, corridors, stairwells, restrooms and other areas of the facility. Gathers and disposes recyclables, trash, and medical waste. Collects hazardous trash following established infection control guidelines. • Full-time, Monday thru Friday, 2pm to finish, working 6-7 hours per shift. This position works independently cleaning the materials and food service. Will do trash run, clean public areas outside of server and assist with food and nutrition meal tray deliveries and cleaning needs. Also does cleaning including trash pickup, dust mopping, vacuuming, mopping and machine scrubbing of floors and sanitizing high touch surfaces. • Full-time, Days, 80 hours bi-weekly, weekdays 7am-3:30pm and work every 4th weekend and holiday. This position works independently cleaning assigned rooms and areas. Also does cleaning including trash pickup, dust mopping, vacuuming, mopping and machine scrubbing of floors and sanitizing high touch surfaces. • Part-time, 40 hours biweekly, 5pm-9pm. This position works independently cleaning day surgery rooms and all other patient rooms. This includes wiping down equipment, mopping, walls, and all critical high touch points. Dusts and damp mops floors in patient and exam rooms, corridors, stairwells, restrooms and other areas of the facility. Gathers and disposes recyclables, trash, and medical waste. Collects hazardous trash following established infection control guidelines. • Part-time, 40 hours biweekly, 3:30pm - 7:30pm. Clean clinic, non-clinic rooms and public areas. Trash pickup, dust mopping, vacuuming carpets, mopping floors and sanitizing high touch surfaces. After discharge of patient responsible for terminal cleaning of rooms including all floors and surfaces including walls, vents, cabinets, drawers, trash cans, toilets, commodes showers, etc. Manages all regular and regulated waste. Cleans and disinfects restroom fixtures throughout the facility on a regular basis. Maintains supplies in all restrooms in patient rooms and assigned areas including soap and paper for dispensers on a regular basis. Spot clean and dust throughout the facility. Clean windows, wash walls and perform specialty cleaning. Spot clean carpets and other duties as assigned.
