Handyman/Woman Job Summary – The Cozy Home 6330 Monona Drive, Monona, WI 53523 We are looking for a dependable part-time Handyman or woman (10-20 hours/week) who can complete various light carpentry and maintenance tasks independently for our Home Staging and Design business and our retail store and warehouse. This person will work in vacant and occupied homes in addition to our commercial buildings. Job duties include repairing drywall, painting, changing light fixtures, trim work, rewiring lamps, hanging light fixtures along with light maintenance at Cozy Home and similar work. You must be able to lift at least 50 lbs., and be proficient with hand and power tools. The ability to estimate job timing is a plus. Duties and Responsibilities • Update and repair drywall and paint as needed • Do light trim carpentry for missing or damaged trim • Do regular light maintenance at The Cozy Home and their warehouse (take out trash, do repairs, have vehicles maintained, salt the sidewalk, etc.) • Rewire lamps and hang light fixtures temporarily for selling • Discuss jobs with homeowners and/or realtors Requirements and Qualifications • High school diploma or GED certificate • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. • Ability to navigate the greater Madison area • Familiarity with basic hand and power tools • Reliable transportation • Flexible schedule • Mechanical aptitude • Ability to work independently Benefits • Flexible schedule • Use of company vehicles while at work • Paid time off/vacation – accrued • Educational reimbursement • Vibrant work environment • Mileage reimbursement Please stop in to fill out an application at 6330 Monona Drive.
