We are seeking a Solar Installer who will be responsible for ensuring that our solar systems are installed properly and on-time. Must have a valid driver's license Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen Responsibilities: Work with a team to install the racking system and solar panels on residential roofs Prepping homes for panel installation by installing roof mounts and stand offs Mounting solar panels on homes Properly flash all roof penetrations Conducting some light electrical work including connecting DC wires to panels Work with crew members to complete projects within established policies and procedures Communicate with customers in a professional, considerate, and respectful manner, answering all questions and complaints to the best of your ability if needed Requirements 1 year experience in roof work, general construction, or carpentry required Ability to safely handle tools and materials such as: inverters, solar panels, panel boards, batteries, and other similar electrical equipment, lumber, roofing materials, etc. Ability to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold, crawl spaces, etc.) Capable of working at heights including on rooftops, climbing ladders and stairs; and performing repetitious duties, including lifting, bending and standing for long periods of time Experience using basic hand and power tools PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT Must be able to lift at least 60 pounds Pay: Hourly A quick path to Leadership to those who excel Bonuses available upon performance
