As a Logistics and Shipping Specialist you will be responsible for assisting with the organization, planning, and management of incoming and outgoing shipments related to our events. This position will also play a role in office operations and general maintenance (i.e. assist with set up/take down of outdoor booths, change air filters/light bulbs, etc.) IDEAL CANDIDATE: Possesses an entrepreneurial approach to carrying out job responsibilities – a ‘can do’ attitude. Communicates openly and frequently THE ROLE: Work closely with the Creative Director in demo kit creation Generate shipping labels under appropriate accounts Maintaining accurate inventory of client materials Identifying supply needs on a routine basis Ability to lift up to 50lbs Maintaining organization within the outdoor storage containers Develop and maintain good working relationships with promotional staff and customers, both locally and nationally Demonstrate the ability to carry on a business conversation with business owners, marketing managers, and decision makers Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes implemented within the team REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Strong verbal and written communication skills Able to read and work from a spreadsheet, proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets is a PLUS Strong interpersonal skills Careful attention to detail Ability to lift up to 50lb Strong time-management skills and awareness of critical deadlines Ability to manage multi-task projects under deadline pressure Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills Basic mathematical reasoning skills Ability to work independently and as a member of project teams MORE INFORMATION: This position pays competitively commensurate with experience.
