Description
Do you love being outside? Some people actually like to sit behind a desk all day. Not us. At Stark Landscape, we love feeling the sun on our backs, getting our hands dirty, playing with machines, and being proud at the end of the day that we got the job done - and we did it right. Stark Landscape maintains hundreds of commercial properties in the Treasure Valley. Banks, hotels, hospitals, restaurants, retail businesses, and more. Pull into any local Costco or the Boise Towne Square Mall. The trees, shrubs, grass, sprinkler systems you see? That’s our work. We are looking to grow our team with responsible, hard working individuals who understand how important it is to make a good first impression. When you join our Landscape Construction crew, you are responsible for laying sod, planting trees and shrubs, watering, digging, raking, grading, installing sprinklers, and installing pavers to make our customers’ commercial properties look their best. Things we would need you to do: ● Learn our safety protocols, expectations and equipment ● Be on time to the construction projects you are assigned to ● Complete a variety of landscape construction tasks (all the stuff noted above) ● Tolerate working in all kinds of weather (rain, wind, hot, cold, everything in between) ● Be great with our customers if they approach you on a job ● Lift or move items up to 60 lbs ● Bend, stoop, and twist continuously throughout the day ● Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record ● Speak either English or Spanish Things you can expect from us: ● A positive work environment where people really like and respect each other ● A management team who cares about you and your success ● Overtime pay after 40 hours, plus hazard pay in the winter months ● Great benefits: medical, paid holidays, paid time off (sick & vacation), referral bonuses ● The opportunity to learn, grow, and advance quickly If you consider yourself: ● Trustworthy and full of integrity ● Great at listening and communicating ● Able to understand and follow instructions ● Eager to work hard and be rewarded for your efforts ● Willing to learn new things and solve problems Or even better: ● Have 5+ years landscape construction experience ● Know how to read plans and blueprints ● Know how to operate small heavy equipment (e.g. skid-steers, mini-excavators) ● Know how to install and repair irrigation systems ● Have managed a crew before And are saying to yourself “Wow, this sounds just like me,” then we’d like you to apply now
