SKILLED SHEETMETAL WELDER FABRICATOR OPPORTUNITY: ENCON Evaporators is a manufacturer of wastewater evaporation systems for industrial and commercial applications based in Hooksett, NH. We offer an excellent opportunity for a Sheetmetal Welder Fabricator to join our Production team as either part-time, full-time, and/or contract employee.  Competitive hourly or per job rate with Bonus potential.  Industry leading equipment provider with 27+ years in wastewater evaporator marketplace.  Customers Include: Baldor, Borg Warner, Caterpillar, CDM, CERN, DOE, GE, Honeywell, Koyo Corp, GKN Aerospace, International Paper, Lisi Aerospace, Los Alamos National Labs, Johnson Controls, MIT, Parker Hannifin, Pepsi Cola, RR Donnelley, Saint Gobain, Stanley Black & Decker, Vermeer, U.S. Army Summary The Sheetmetal Welder Fabricator is a member of the Production team that includes Operations and Supply Chain. Primary duties include reviewing drawings and preparing MIG/TIG welding cut, bent, and formed sheet metal components for final assembly. Complete daily inspection of all work areas, tooling, and materials to maintain scheduling commitments. Provide feedback on design improvements to improve quality while reducing overall assembly time. Summary of responsibilities: • Review and comprehension of mechanical drawings, and job specifications to determine assembly procedures • Operate appropriate machinery such as; MIG/TIG welder, forklift, hand plasma, grinder, etc. • Position and fasten components using hand tools (Wrenches, Screwdrivers, Torque tools, Small power tools) • Assembles parts into sub-units or complete units. • Completes production/quality related documentation and provide production, progress, or changeover reports to shift supervisors • Provides feedback on design and assembly issues and improvements • Measuring tools (Multi-meters, Continuity testers, tape measures, calipers, etc.) • Performs work in accordance with quality and engineering standards • Responsible for inspecting and testing their own work before moving to next routing step • Keep work area clean and organized as to present a professional work environment BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:  The ability to work with Steel, Stainless Steel, or other higher Alloy gauges of sheet metals 11-18GA range  Interact effectively within a manufacturing environment  The ability to work with limited supervision  Basic computer skills necessary (Windows, Office365, etc.)  3-5 years minimum of industrial welding experience related to assembly of cut, bent, and formed sheet metal and equipment  Ability to read blueprints, schematics and wire lists  Ability to use hand tools and handle medium and large components  Forklift experience  Strong work ethic, initiative and detail accuracy  Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team  Willingness to work required overtime/weekends/split shifts on occasion  Adhere to all safety procedures QUALIFICATIONS:  High School education or equivalent (GED)  AWS & ASME Code Certified a plus  Pulse welding MIG experience a plus
