Ensure the health and proper appearance of exterior trees and shrubs, flower beds and all lawn and ground cover areas by having a thorough understanding of lawn and shrub maintenance. Great Benefits & Generous Paid Time Off! Monday - Friday $13/hour Essential Functions: Work alone or with staff mowing, weed eating, edging, seeding, laying sod and applying chemicals to lawn. Work alone or with staff manually weeding, pruning and planting shrubs and flowers. Work alone or with staff removing leaves, plant debris and litter from lawns and beds. Keep all tools and equipment clean and in good working order. Assist with irrigation system as required. Remove snow and ice from walks, driveways and street. Till, rake and remove debris from residents' garden areas. Perform maintenance functions as assigned. Follow all safety, security, infection control and hazardous materials policies and procedures. Perform all tasks to assure resident safety, personal safety and the protection of co-workers and the facility property. Responsible for proper labeling, handling and safe storage of all fuels and chemicals required by your department. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned. Qualifications: Commercial mowing experience is strongly desired Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families and staff Must enjoy working with the senior population Ability to follow instructions, work independently, prioritize and meet deadlines Ability to adjust schedule or work overtime, on occasion, to meet departmental needs Ability speak English Ability to lift and/or push up to 50 pounds Ability to maintain confidentiality of all organizational information For more information, or to apply now, you must go to the website below.
